We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to give fast solutions for the bulk material quality issues highlighted by inspection teams and plant to avoid/minimize the impact to the organization. And work with suppliers and internal teams for material issues. Involve on material quality related thigs in SS and be connected with MQD

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers to understand RM issues and follow-up until both parties come to an agreement thereby ensuring quality decisions are made for a smooth flow in operations.
• Review samples for Inspection units/plant highlighted issues (defects/color/other issues) and provide directions to the relevant teams.
• Visit the internal operations facilities, embellishment plants as and when the need arises and understand the practical problems related to material quality and address them in an effective manner, whilst sharing such information with the internal team in order to prevent re-occurrence of same.
• Generate the “Monthly Quality Report” detailing the quality related issues encountered at inspection/plants and suggest/ provide counter measures to overcome such issues whilst, sharing same amongst the team in order to prevent recurrences.
• Work closely with Garment quality teams to ensure that the customer receives garments made out of acceptable material quality and take immediate action to rectify issues pertaining to any quality deviations.
• Ensure that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contributing towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization.

Knowledge And Skills

• B.Sc. Engineering/ Textile Technology 
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar capacity (Experience in fabric development field would be advantageous)
• Computer literacy, good communication & report writing skills
