Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Country Sales Manager to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. Your responsibilities include assuming direct accountability of resources, sales targets, and business opportunities in the Country in line with the company objectives. Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large distributers, key accounts and develop new customers.

As a Country Sales Manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of your sales experience to provide solutions and innovative ideas for business growth.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience managing distribution in both Channel and Retail sector while taking accountability for expanding client’s depth, breadth and market reach. You will also work to maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and customers, to manage the operation and grow market share in the assigned channels our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run. Our ideal candidate combines the ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goal along with deep understanding of the local market, customer behavior, and competitive landscape

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve the quarterly sales targets.  Work closely with Distributors, assigning quarterly targets for the key accounts.
  • Responsible for managing and generating all sales activities into assigned accounts. Working collaboratively with your accounts, discuss and agree targets for each quarter.
  • Responsible for building relationships and influencing the mind share of the customer in order to increase sales and market share while maintaining a competitive position and yielding the highest possible returns on sales.
  • Work closely with Distributors, and manage:
  • Pricing
  • Stock Distribution
  • Orders and Forecast
  • Quarterly promotions
  • Develop and expand new and existing E-tail/ Retail and channel markets across the country, resulting in increasing the business and gain market share.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze information, i.e., competitive information, market dynamics and activities to utilize in decision-making and business strategies.
  • Collaborate with and through other departments within the company to ensure that all sales activities meet/satisfy all business and/or legal requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • 8 + years of related experience in a similar sales role.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business.
  • Strong network within Turkey’s  IT and business community

Preferred:

  • Experience operating in assigned territory.
  • Strong knowledge in retail, on-line and channel sales.
  • Effectively uses sales process, tools, and qualification procedures.
  • Strong experience in the IT industry with good knowledge of the market dynamics
  • Influence behavior and able to meet and develop relationships with senior managers
