Licensed Practical Nurse-Department of Medicine (Reisterstown)

Assists physicians and nursing staff in the care of patients. Performs various patient care activities, including assisting with patient flow and triage in the practice, clinical communication, Care Coordination between patient and provider.  Perform PFT Testing

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides physical care and carries out therapeutic and medical regimens.
• Obtains patient histories and medical information.
• Assists with medical and minor surgical procedures.
• Assesses reports and records vital signs and measurements. Collects specimens.
• Observes patients for physical or emotional changes. Reports observations.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Requires valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• One or more years of related experience
• CPR certification is required.

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
