What Are We Looking For?

We're looking for a highly experienced and strategic finance professional to be the Head, Finance Operations & Reporting, CLM Hub. You'll be a key player in ensuring our finance operations team across CLM Hub provides the best-in-class services to internal and external stakeholders, and upholds a high standard in both internal and external financial reporting.

What Are We Expecting From This Role?

• Lead accounting operations and financial reporting teams across three life insurance markets.
• Build high-performance, future-ready teams through capability development, goal alignment, and resource optimization.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to Senior Management, the Board, and Regulators
• Oversee the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements and regulatory reports in accordance with IFRS and local insurance regulations. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
• Lead coordination of annual external audits across all entities. Manage auditor relationships, streamline audit processes, and oversee resolution of audit findings with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with actuarial teams to integrate reserve calculations, valuation results, and policyholder liabilities into financial reporting.
• Oversee corporate tax filings, indirect taxes (e.g. VAT, premium tax, Withholding Tax), transfer pricing policies, and tax risk assessments.
• Coordinate tax audits and manage interactions with tax authorities.
• Continuously monitor company’s solvency position and liquidity performance to ensure financial stability, regulatory compliance, and capital adequacy.
• Coordinate closely with Group Finance. Align local financial performance with group targets and contribute to regional business reviews and transformation programs.

Who Are We Looking For?

We're looking for someone with a strong background in financial services, ideally with a focus on insurance or banking. The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant experience: At least 10 years of experience in a financial services company, with a solid understanding of insurance financials.
• Professional credentials: A professional accounting qualification is required.
• Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of local tax rules is essential.
• Strategic and analytical skills: You should possess a strong commercial sense and an analytical mindset.
• Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills are highly desirable.
