Associate Lecturer - Accounting Data Analytics and Visualisation (HE7)

This course provides students with the skills and ability to use digital technologies based on frameworks learnt in the curriculum, along with authentic assessments to solve business problems for long-term social impact. In this course, students will spend time reviewing reports, internal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations to synthesize market trends, competitive drivers, customer behaviours, and operational procedures for enhanced accounting reports. Students will learn data analytics and visualisation techniques to develop an analytic mindset and learn to communicate meaningful results to a variety of stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• A Ph.D or Master's Degree in related discipline from a reputable university or professional qualification in Accounting
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred
• 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage
• Familiar with the data analytics and visualization software such as Tableau and PowerBI
• Must be available to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for a period of 9 weeks
• Must be available to teach classes during the day between 8.30AM and 6.30PM and/or on week‐day evenings from 7PM to 10PM
