HOW A QUALITY ANALYST ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Performs a variety of quality control tasks including reviewing and filing daily Safety and Quality inspection reports from Quality and Safety personnel assigned to waterfront operation installations.
- Reviews daily reports and analyzes data for metrics reporting.
- Records and analyzes data and writes summaries and reports to validate or show deviations from existing standards.
- Works closely with management to ensure work performed is adherence to ISO standards and NAVSEA Standard Items.
- Recommend modification to existing, or suggest new standards, methods, and procedures.
- Maintains contract level Master Document Control Index and review work instructions, forms, and training documentation to ensure instructions are updated to current work processes.
- Develop QEHS training for new personnel.
- May provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff members.
- Guide and direct employees in QEHS improvement efforts.
- Assist in preparing and presenting the Quality Reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing routine and on demand Quality reports by performing data analysis
- Assist in collecting information and investigation to provide coordinated response Corrective Action Reports.
- Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Microsoft office skills and SharePoint user helpful
● Security Clearance Level: none
● Required Skills and Abilities: Quality Assurance or Quality Control knowledge in a Navy or Shipyard work environment helpful. Problem solving, root cause analysis, good communication skills helpful.
● Preferred Skills: Quality Assurance and EHS working knowledge
● Location: Chesapeake GDIT office
