QUALITY ANALYST ASSOCIATE

HOW A QUALITY ANALYST ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Performs a variety of quality control tasks including reviewing and filing daily Safety and Quality inspection reports from Quality and Safety personnel assigned to waterfront operation installations.
Reviews daily reports and analyzes data for metrics reporting.
Records and analyzes data and writes summaries and reports to validate or show deviations from existing standards.
Works closely with management to ensure work performed is adherence to ISO standards and NAVSEA Standard Items.
Recommend modification to existing, or suggest new standards, methods, and procedures.
Maintains contract level Master Document Control Index and review work instructions, forms, and training documentation to ensure instructions are updated to current work processes.
Develop QEHS training for new personnel.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff members.
Guide and direct employees in QEHS improvement efforts.
Assist in preparing and presenting the Quality Reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in preparing routine and on demand Quality reports by performing data analysis
Assist in collecting information and investigation to provide coordinated response Corrective Action Reports.
Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Microsoft office skills and SharePoint user helpful
● Security Clearance Level: none
● Required Skills and Abilities: Quality Assurance or Quality Control knowledge in a Navy or Shipyard work environment helpful. Problem solving, root cause analysis, good communication skills helpful.
● Preferred Skills: Quality Assurance and EHS working knowledge
● Location: Chesapeake GDIT office

The likely salary range for this position is $51,000 - $69,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
