TITLE: Sales Analytics Sr. Manager
DEPARTMENT: Worldwide Commercial Operations > Sales Analytics
ADP is hiring a Sales Analytics Sr. Manager. In this position, you will be owning the Sales Analytics function for a Business Unit within Worldwide Commercial Operations. The Sales Analytics Group helps ADP to think differently by producing beautifully designed, easy to use, prescriptive insights aligned to the strategic needs of our business. We work closely with key business stakeholders to gather feedback, evaluate success, and proactively identify opportunities for ongoing improvement. Activities will range from running statistical analysis to providing recommendations to the business, designing and developing automated Tableau dashboards built upon ML models, and participating in the rollout and ongoing education of the resources we provide. You will partner with sales leadership, sales finance, sales planning, and other functional areas within ADP to improve seller and leader productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in your business unit, identifying opportunities for improvement via technology, process, or strategy, and providing thoughtful well-researched recommendations that answer key business questions
- Work alongside an Advanced Analytics team to translate business questions into predictive and prescriptive insights that will empower the sales organization and improve sales forecasting accuracy
- Design, develop, and deploy SQL based Tableau dashboards to share with sales leadership what happened, what may happen in the future, and what can be done to change that outcome
- Regularly attend sales performance reviews and sales strategy meetings as the analytics expert, providing concise data-driven guidance and gathering feedback for the automated analytics suite
- Manage prioritization of projects with BU leadership
Skills Required:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills – SQL with data visualization experience
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and present complex data concepts to large groups
- A self-starter and owner mentality - you can lead “first time” assignments with no playbook from initial question development to rollout
- Advanced problem-solving skills: identify and diagnose a problem, set up hypotheses, test hypotheses through analyses & discovery, and interpret, summarize, and present findings to drive improvements in business results
- Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization; a proactive, and action-oriented team player
Qualifications Required:
- A college degree is nice to have but not required. What’s more important is having the skills to do the job. Other forms of acceptable experience include:
- 7+ years’ experience in sales operations, business intelligence, sales analytics, or financial analysis in a corporate environment
- 3+ years of relational database (SQL) experience
- 3+ years’ experience using Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar software to implement data visualization best practices
- Experience working with data science teams and ML concepts
