Position Purpose: This position will drive the measurement and improvement of health equity initiatives by infusing evidence into program design and measuring outcomes. They will oversee accurate data collection, analysis, reporting, learning and decision-making at multiple levels across various stakeholders. The role is cross-functional and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement evaluation projects related to health equity and SDoH.
- Lead the evaluation of health equity initiatives: Design and implement evaluation plans to monitor and measure the outcomes of health equity initiatives, including value based contracting, enhanced services, and programs to reduce health inequities. Strengthen the capacity for high-quality data collection, analysis, reporting and use.
- Oversee High-Quality Data Submission, Analysis and Reporting: oversee accurate data analysis, reporting, learning and decision-making at multiple levels across various stakeholders, including state agencies, internal staff, and implementing partners.
- Communications: Assemble and distribute material for project communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed of projected and actual developments in a timely manner. Lead and collaborate on development of presentations, publications and technical briefs.
- Implement industry leading data collection methods: oversee the development, implementation, analysis and reporting of primary and secondary data.
- Facilitate a culture of data-driven learning across programs through increasing access to and use of current and peer-reviewed literature, raw, and synthesized data.
Education/Experience:
Master’s degree preferred. 7 years of related experience in monitoring and evaluation: ability to analyze monitoring and evaluation and other programmatic data, and to synthesize findings as learning for programmatic use. Industry experience in Public Health, Healthcare, or Insurance required.
Experience with data management systems and performing statistical analyses (Python, R, SPSS, SASS) is preferred.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including familiarity with RELD/SOGI/SDOH data is preferred.
Must reside in the State of Louisiana.
Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
