Vice President Of Sales - India
Role Overview:
As the Vice President, Sales - India, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving growth and market leadership in region. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with key stakeholders, and execute strategies to expand PTC's presence, achieve revenue targets, and deliver exceptional value to customers, all while building a dynamic and winning culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Strategy And Expansion:
- Formulate and execute a robust market expansion strategy aligned with PTC's global objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to shape PTC's solutions and offerings.
- Elevate PTC's brand presence and thought leadership in the India market.
Sales And Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth through your direct sales leadership and orchestrating strategic sales initiatives within your team and in partnership across the business.
- Foster customer relationships, identify potential sales opportunities, and lead complex negotiations.
- Expand PTC's customer base and deepen engagement with existing accounts.
Team Leadership And Development:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing, cross-functional team, fostering a wining culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members, conduct regular assessments and actively manage performance development.
- Leading from the front driving team performance through proactive client engagement, strategic leadership, and relentless pursuit of revenue goals.
Customer Relationships And Satisfaction:
- Cultivate strong customer relationships at executive levels, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as a customer advocate, addressing concerns promptly and maintaining a high level of service.
Market Intelligence And Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide actionable market insights to the leadership team, influencing strategic adjustments.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee operational functions, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate across functions such as marketing, product management, and support to ensure seamless operations and customer support.
Qualifications And Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field .
- Proven track record of successful leadership and sales within the software or technology sector; ideally within a SaaS based business.
- Deep understanding of industrial technology solutions and the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
- Extensive experience in market expansion within the Indian market.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong people management skills and a history of developing high-performing teams.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across geographies and functions.
- Proficiency in English is required.
