Job Description:
- Participation in the execution of a broad range of deal types including sell-side and buyside M&A, private placements, and recapitalization transactions
- Performing financial valuations, analyzing financial and company information, and building financial models
- Preparing marketing materials for pitches and live deals, including information memoranda and management presentations
- Managing data rooms, working with due diligence providers, and assisting with due diligence
- Performing industry, product, and competitor research
- Attending meetings with clients and prospective clients with senior bankers
- Direct interaction with investors and clients
- Working with highly innovative and transformative growth companies
- Frequent cross-border deals working together with our colleagues in international offices
- Occasional domestic and international travel
Requirements:
We are looking for individuals with the following skills:
- The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic track record from a recognized college or university.
- 2+ years experience in investment banking preferred
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship of work visa
- Strong accounting skills
- Proven Tier-1 modelling and Excel skills
- Exceptional analytical and financial skills
- Time management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Engaging personality and people skills
- Self-starter who is proactive and can work independently
- Major in finance, accounting, economics, and mathematics preferred.
