DC Engineer Consultant

Title : DC Engineer Consultant Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Consultant with over 10+ years of expertise to lead and optimize comprehensive data center operations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge in any one of the domain such as Windows, Linux, Network LAN/WAN, Voice, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Network Firewalls, Network Load Balancers, VMware, Hyper-V, Hybrid Cloud, and enterprise storage solutions. This role entails designing, implementing, and maintaining data center infrastructure to ensure exceptional levels of availability, security, and efficiency. Detailed Responsibilities Infrastructure Design and Implementation: • Architectural Design: o Develop and deploy robust data center architectures integrating Windows, Linux, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), VMware, Hyper-V, and hybrid cloud environments. o Implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime and uphold data integrity. o Supervise the deployment and management of virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V) to optimize resource utilization. Operating Systems Management: • Windows and Linux Server Management: o Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring peak performance and security. o Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet). o Monitor server health, apply patches, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability. Network and Voice Management: • LAN/WAN Configuration: o Design, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks to ensure efficient data transfer and reliable connectivity. o Manage voice network solutions, including VoIP systems, to facilitate seamless communication. o Implement and oversee network firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and load balancers (e.g., F5 BIG-IP) to optimize application performance and safeguard network traffic.
