THE POSITION 

The 3rd Line Cook for the 4 Below is responsible for the preparation and cooking of all Staff Lunchroom products including following menus, abiding by policies and procedures related to food management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. They are also responsible for providing courteous customer service to our patrons and be able to adapt to our customers’ needs.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

• Provide friendly customer service to our customers
• Follow planned menus and approved recipes
• Prepare products maintaining standards of quality, proportioning, and presentation;
• Control and minimize food waste;
• Report low quality product and spoilage to supervisor;
• Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly;
• Report potential safety hazards;
• Perform cleaning duties as directed;
• Follow food safe guidelines while preparing and cooking food products;
• Assist with training of new staff during shift;
• Actively participate in safety programs and follow policies;
• All other duties as assigned.

 

THE INDIVIDUAL 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly;
• Positive attitude and a strong attention to detail;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize effectively.
• Previous industry experience is considered an asset
