Senior Python Engineer

We are helping our client – an ambitious early-stage stealth startup – find a talented Senior Python Engineer to join their core team. The company is on a mission to transform how engineering organizations detect and solve bugs, leveraging cutting-edge AI to make the development process faster and smarter.
This is not just another engineering role — it’s an opportunity to join as a founding team member, shape the product vision, and influence the technical direction from day one. You’ll work on building a production-ready MVP out of a working proof of concept and lay the foundation for a scalable platform.
About the roleWe’re looking for a highly skilled, self-driven software engineer who can design and build an AI-powered solution from the ground up. You’ll take ownership of the backend architecture, work closely with the founding team, and turn complex ideas into elegant, production-ready systems. If you love the challenge of going from zero to one, working with cutting-edge technologies, and having a real impact, this role is for you.

What You’Ll Do

• Build and optimize backend systems to power an AI-driven platform
• Transform a proof of concept into a robust, scalable MVP
• Collaborate with the founding team to define product and technical strategy
• Take full ownership of features and deliver in a fast-paced startup environment

What You Bring

• 10+ years of overall engineering experience
• 4+ years of Python development
• Strong backend development skills and experience building production-ready systems
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset
• Spoken English B2

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience building systems powered by LLMs
• Knowledge of DevOps and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages (Java, C, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript)
