The Position:

FanDuel Sports Network is seeking a VP, Ad Sales Finance to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the SVP - FP&A, this position will be the operational finance support partner to the Sales team that spans multiple professional sports leagues (MLB, NBA, NHL & Others) and across linear and digital assets. We are seeking a change-agent who is comfortable in a transformational role that will drive improved results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The Game Plan:
(What you will do)

Act as key business partner to the head of Ad Sales and the Regional Sales leaders responsible for overseeing all FP&A functions of the division including forecasting, month-end analysis and month close support
Oversee and develop a growing team of finance professionals; act as a transformation leader within the finance department to identify, implement and continuously improve process
Assist the Corporate FP&A team in all monthly and quarterly deliverables to various stakeholders including but not limited to the Board of Directors, senior management, lenders and investors
Perform in-depth analysis and deliver insights on inventory capacity, utilization & sell-thru, and rate/CPM trends to drive revenue growth
Execute monthly close analysis with reporting on variance analysis at the team level and identify trends and insights to share with management
Collaborate with the data analytics team to coordinate real time data flow and dashboards
Full P&L ownership over the ad sales function (including sales compensation, capital investments, headcount, creative staffing and marketing)
Lead the forecast and budget process for all 29 professional teams and associated inventory including overhead of local and national resources
Act as the subject matter expert in Advertising and Sponsorship and lead special projects as requested by management.

The Stats:
(What to bring)

BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, Accounting degree preferred, CPA preferred.
Minimum 10 years accounting experience and familiarity with areas of financial reporting, SEC reporting, and public company experience.
A strong background in leading roles developing internal and external working relationships as well as experience managing a small team of direct reports
Deep expertise of advertising in national and local markets, sports preferable but not required
Solid understanding of general ledger and cost accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
