Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Human Resources programs and policies for OneDigital Advanced Health’s employees. They will act as a front-line point for employee administrative questions, leave of absence management and general day-to-day HR administration and data processing. This role is 100% onsite Monday-Friday at the Willis Tower
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, employee relations and escalate to corporate COE’s or the Director of Human Resources when necessary;
- Act as the bridge between Recruiting and Human Resources; duties include leading weekly HR orientation sessions, walking new hires through onboarding and processing I-9 documentation;
- Oversee the Hire and Termination lifecycle in Workday and other systems in a high-volume environment;
- Full-cycle management of Leave of Absence and ADA accommodation requests for the office, track and communicate these to the greater OneDigital Leave of Absence team;
- Manage low-level employee relations remediation;
- Update employment records in Workday in relation to the onboarding, offboarding and regular employment lifecycle changes;
- Complete verbal and written employment verifications on behalf of the office;
- Manage new hire corporate background check systems and results;
- Respond to inquiries from the Department of Labor regarding unemployment information;
- Run and analyze scheduled and ad-hoc people reports;
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, participating in the planning and execution of events;
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and necessary posters for the office;
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications, Skills And Requirements:
- Must be self-motivated, resourceful and able to exercise independent judgement in an efficient and effective manner;
- Ability to relate to people of all levels and personalities, some of whom require a high level of patience and diplomacy;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines under time and resource constraints.;
- Prides oneself on confidentiality and maintaining professional relationships with coworkers.
Education, Training And Experience:
- 2+ years HR Generalist experience required;
- Prior ADA interactive process and LOA administration experience required.
- Prior experience in sales center or customer service center HR a plus;
- Solid foundational Excel skills (pivot tables, xlookup, data analysis skills) and Workday experience a plus;
- Knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration;
- Bachelor's degree or HR certification preferred
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base
pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance
and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits,
