The Public Affairs Senior Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to advance public health priorities and foster collaboration with key stakeholders. This position will focus on strengthening partnerships across government, health institutions, civil society, and other key organizations to positively impact patients’ lives.

We are seeking a proactive, strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams to deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Co-create and implement comprehensive public affairs strategies aimed at improving public health outcomes and access to healthcare solutions for high-risk populations.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and sustain constructive relationships with government bodies, health institutions, academia, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders.

  • Represent GSK at public health forums, working groups, and strategic discussions to build and support decision-making and promote public health priorities.

3. Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration to enhance public health initiatives. Foster international collaboration to identify regional priorities and drive impactful cross-border programs.

4. Cross-Functional Teamwork:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical, Market Access, Business Units, Regulatory Affairs, and Corporate Government Affairs, to align and execute strategic priorities.

  • Lead and manage external public relations agencies and consultants as required to support the execution of strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Political Science, International Relations, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience in public affairs, government relations, and/or healthcare advocacy.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute high-impact initiatives.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English required.
