Job Overview:
CQ Engineer is responsible for directly supporting Customer, such as failure investigation and root cause analysis follow-up. He/She will need to interact with wide range of other departments, such as production, quality, logistics production control, and maintenance team to come up with customer's satisfaction and timely solution to the customer complaint. He/She might be required to travel often to Customer plant or office to communicate or provide support as needed.

Role and Responsibilities:
Regional Quality Representative
- Main contact window for customer, such as managing customer issues (0km, field issue, re-call, etc.), and lead /support quality meeting with Customer.
- Able to create/support to make an 8D report for customers.
- Immediate support the customer's complaint. Frequently travel to the customer's location to perform the required tests. (visual inspection, IR test, OCV test, etc.)
- Able to understand general PCA and SPC, Gage R&R (MSA), Run @ Rate, Safety Requirements.
- To respond immediately during the early stage of production.
- Support/lead the process the process of shipping suspected parts to SKBA, Georgia. (Create RMA, check P/N, qty., etc.)
- Report customer's complaint/concern to CQ headquarter and CQ manager
- 4M change, re-validation, product PPAP approval support as directed by the manager if needed.
Customer Audit
- Review customer's requirement and audit document with CQ headquarter and CQ manager.
- Provide required support to customer during the audit
- Support another department related customer audit
- Understanding of VDA and IATF requirement.
Customer PPAP/ISIR support
- Support to prepare and submit customer-required report and documents to communicate with customer regarding each step of product part approval process with CQ headquarter and CQ manager.
- Understanding of CSR (Customer Specific Requirements)
Customer Relation Management
- Continually acquire knowledge of customer's requirements
- Travelling to Customer's facilities as needed to collect the customer's voices and provide support
- Able to make a good relationship with customer in order to represent SK.
- Other tasks assigned
Skill and Qualifications:
- Korean language proficiency (required)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management or equivalent
- 0-5 years or more of customer service experience or equivalent. Preferred if experienced in battery, or other automotive product.
- Previously interacted with OEM is a plus
- Able to travel to the customer's facility / Travel to SK's plant / office if necessary
- Able to communicate within the organization (Korean / English)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- SAP experience
