Global BA&C team monitors Opella financial performance and trajectory, drives finance planning and forecasting processes across countries, consolidates Opella Results and Risks & Opportunities, and contributes / drives transversal initiatives to improve Opella profitability and promotes simplification, harmonization, and automation in Opella Finance organization.

Main responsibilities:

Support Functions BA&C Controller provides BA&C support to Opella Global HQ perimeter, acting as focal point to all transactional activities for the respective Opella ComOps verticalized functions. In this role you will maintain & develop Opella HQ tools (CARLI Access DB and transition to Power BI), ensuring alignment of metadata and accuracy of financial figures. You will support the creation and maintenance of a reporting toolset to provide main financial data to the key business stakeholders. As Opella Support Functions BA&C Controller, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Pre-closing activities, including posting of provisions, reclassifications of expenses, approval and follow-up of intercompany invoices;

• Act as central point for communication with countries on correct booking of central costs at local level, providing guidance when needed and performing follow-up when inconsistencies are identified;

• Controlling of Opella Support Function costs in order to provide support to the Global Finance Performance Leads (FPLs) with monthly analysis of expenditure and headcount, including preliminary analysis (consistency) and action on necessary corrections;

• Consolidation of financials from different sources and providing reports to Function FPLs to assess variances vs forecast and prior year;

• Support all forecasting exercises for Opella Support Functions, consolidating inputs from Function FPLs, providing summary analysis and loading figures in systems as required;

• Maintenance of cost centers, WBS/IOs (projects) metadata across all reporting tools;

• Adhoc analysis related to Opella HQ perimeter.

• Strong rigor and ability to multi-task and to organize, manage and prioritize deadlines.

• Able to work in a multi-cultural, fast-paced and demanding environment.

• Collaborative and proactive attitude, comfortable when interacting with senior leadership.

• High acumen in managing different systems (TM1, SharePoint, Power BI, expert Excel), as well as capacity and willingness to learn and discover new tools and functionalities (Access, Python).

• Degree qualified in finance, business, or accounting.

• Fluency in English is required.
