Gidgee Healing is seeking a dedicated Family Wellbeing Worker to join our Family Wellbeing Service (FWS). This Aboriginal Identified role supports vulnerable families through culturally safe, holistic care coordination and advocacy.

About the Role

Provide intensive, customised support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
Develop and implement case plans guided by the QATSICPP framework
Deliver therapeutic interventions and culturally appropriate advocacy
Collaborate with internal and external service providers
Participate in community development and group work
Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to service evaluation

Who We’re Looking For

Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or Youth Work
Experience in case management and trauma-informed practice
Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel and work in remote areas
Current QLD Driver’s Licence, Blue Card, and Police Check
