Lloydminster and District Co-op is recruiting a full-time Health & Safety/ Human Resources Coordinator to join our People and Culture Team in Lloydminster, SK.

What You’Ll Do:

  • Reporting to the Vice President of People and Culture, the position is responsible for assisting and supporting the team on Human Resources/Health and Safety issues for Lloydminster and District Co-op and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include: 
  • Assist HR Manager and H&S Advisor on a broad variety of HR and H&S activities.
  • The scope of the duties may include support of payroll and employee information, recruitment, talent management, onboarding, training, and development.
  • Support H&S Advisor on a broad variety of health and safety activities, including the development, implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs.
  • Assist with incident investigations, hazard identifications, and policies, procedures, and manuals as it relates to health and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources or Safety. 
  • A Health & Safety Administration Certificate would be an asset.
  • A diploma or degree, preferably in Business.
  • This role requires basic knowledge of Provincial and Federal Legislation.

Working Conditions:

  • Day to day operations is done from onsite location (Administration office in Lloydminster).
  • Ability to drive to locations within our locations in Lloydminster, Turtleford, Lashburn and Neilburg when required.

Availability:

  • Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30pm with some flexibility needed on occasion.
