welder (Sanford, FL)

Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a Welder/Container Repair at our site in Sanford, FL . This position will be responsible for performing work on Garbage Containers, Roll-Off and Compactors.

Monday-Friday starting a day shift typically working 10-12 hour days. You may also work every other weekend for extra overtime. On top of competitive pay, we offer family benefits, 401k, and vacation.

Pay Range: $20-$22+/hr. DOE

Requirements:

· 2+ years' of welding experience or Technical College certification in Welding in the following

SMAW - Stick Welding / Shield and Metal Arc / All Positions.

GMAW - Gas Metal Arc / All Positions.

FCAW - Flux core Arc Welding / All Positions.

· Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information.

· Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English is required.
