About the Role
We’re looking for a high-integrity, strategy-savvy Head of Finance who thrives in a fast-moving,entrepreneurial environment. You’ll be the financial backbone of our company, ensuring we’re cash-smart, compliant, and poised for growth.

This is a hands-on role: you’ll roll up your sleeves to build our forecasts, lead our reporting cadence, design policies, and proactively manage financial risks. If you’re a sharp thinker, natural collaborator, and calm operator under pressure, you’ll love this opportunity.

What You’ll Do
● Lead our monthly forecasting and financial planning process, including a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast
● Deliver GAAP-compliant monthly financial reports in partnership with our bookkeeper
● Monitor cash position weekly and recommend 3-month cash reserve targets
● Design and implement financial policies and internal controls, subject to CEO approval
● Conduct quarterly financial risk assessments and proactively flag cash or compliance issues
● Maintain 100% ownership of financial Scorecard metrics, ensuring accuracy and delivery for EOS planning
● Own quarterly Rocks (measurable goals) that move the financial engine forward

Measurables You’ll be Evaluated On
We’re crystal clear on what success looks like. Your performance will be measured by:
● Forecast Accuracy: ±5% variance from actuals (monthly)
● Monthly Reports On-Time: 100% by the 10th of each month
● 13-Week Cash Flow Forecast: 100% updated monthly
● Risk Flags and Mitigation: 100% of red flags raised proactively
● Policy Implementation: 100% of approved policies implemented within 30 days
● Leadership Satisfaction: 8+/10 score from CEO and internal stakeholders (quarterly)
● Quarterly Rock Completion: $200 bonus per Rock!

Rock Bonus Program
We don’t believe in working hard without recognition. You’ll be eligible to earn a $200 bonus per quarter for each Rock (key goal) completed on time and aligned with company priorities. You help us move the needle – we help you grow your wallet.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
● 5+ years in finance leadership, preferably in startups or SMB environments
● Strong background in FP&A, cash flow forecasting, and internal controls
● Comfortable owning GAAP-compliant financials in partnership with a bookkeeper
● Experience with EOS, Ninety.io, ClickUp, or other strategic operations platforms (a big plus)
● Clear communicator who can work independently and drive decisions with data
