This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role during a time of transformation. Reporting initially to the Director Regulatory Enablement, you’ll guide your team through a transition as a result of FSP Phase 2 on 1 December 2025, which will require resilience, clarity, and a steady hand. • Providing leadership through change, helping your team adapt and thrive in a new structure.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in people leadership – you know how to bring out the best in your team.
  • Deep understanding of operational policy – you’ve done the mahi and know what good looks like.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills – you can bring people on the journey.
  • High levels of resilience – you’re calm under pressure and lead with integrity.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills – you keep things moving and deliver results.

Why join us?

You’ll be part of a passionate and committed group of kaimahi working to enable regulatory systems that protect and support New Zealanders. We value collaboration, curiosity, and courage – and we’re looking for someone who shares those values.
