Summary
We are seeking a Software Configuration & Release Manager to take ownership of the release and configuration management process for our core central ECU platform, consisting of Linux, Adaptive AUTOSAR, and Classic AUTOSAR domains. This role is key in establishing structured, traceable, and efficient release workflows that align with program milestones and automotive safety standards. You will partner closely with a strong operational release leader to ensure the right content is delivered at the right time, while driving continuous improvements in documentation, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience in release management or configuration management.
- Experience in automotive or embedded systems.
- Knowledge of Linux, Adaptive AUTOSAR, and Classic AUTOSAR.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Experience with Yocto is a plus.
- Knowledge of embedded build systems and cross-compilation.
- Familiarity with ASPICE and ISO 26262.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in agile teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full release and configuration process for the central ECU.
- Set and control versioning schemes, baselines, and release strategies.
- Develop automated build, integration, and packaging workflows using CI/CD tools.
- Oversee branching, merging, and integration across multiple domains and suppliers.
- Keep software artifacts traceable and compliant with automotive standards.
- Administer tools such as Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Prepare documentation, tagging, and release notes for every delivery.
- Lead release readiness reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Work with developers and system engineers to solve build and integration issues.
- Coordinate release timelines with Product Owners and Product Managers.
- Define, update, and maintain the release documentation and process framework.
