The CTG Product & Engineering program management team partners cross-functionally to drive key strategic product & engineering programs for business lines within Akamai's Cloud Technology Group (CTG) and for critical infrastructure teams that support them. Our team enjoys great visibility and is a key revenue driver for Akamai's business.
Partner with the best
You'll lead a team of Business & Technical Program Managers working within Akamai's CTG group by aligning goals with CTG leadership. You will lead a team responsible for planning, communication, execution, and delivery of major programs, products, and solutions including several Foundational Systems and Data Products.
As a Manager, Technical Program Management, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of BPMs & TPMs that drive planning and execution for programs in our CTG portfolio
- Leading complex cross-functional programs and providing subject matter expertise in planning and execution of multiple projects and programs
- Building and tracking end to end plans in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Management, Architects, Engineering, SRE, Services, Finance, Legal, Sales, Marketing
- Identifying areas ripe for process improvement, architecting and proposing solutions and implementing change management
- Developing successful partnerships with program stakeholders across the organization

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
- Have extensive experience leading complex technical programs
- Have experience managing a team of program managers
- Be able to prioritize workload across multiple projects and communicate risks and issues effectively to senior stakeholders
- Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills needed to work across global constituencies across multiple time zones
- Have experience with multiple process methodologies including PACE (equivalent to toll gates in the industry), PDLC/SDLC and Go To Market processes

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $114,400 - $237,600/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
