Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): The Sculpture Shopkeeper monitors the Wood and Metalworking Sculpture Studios to ensure a safe working environment for students while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized shop space.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Monitor student safety in Wood and Metalworking Studios
• Check in and out tools and equipment
• Organize and tidy equipment and spaces
• Provide light assistance and support to students
• Assist with tasks identified by the Art Department Studio Technician

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

• Shopkeepers must have taken the 3D Foundations course at St. Olaf before working as a Sculpture Shopkeeper.
• This position requires promptness, attention to detail, and safety consciousness.
• Knowledge and experience with woodworking and metalworking tools and processes.
