Job Description

This is an onsite job.

Lead and manage the entire contract lifecycle: drafting, negotiation, execution, administration, claims, and close-out.
Drive the tendering and procurement processes: preparation of RFP/RFQ documentation, bidder clarifications, bid evaluation, and award recommendations.
Review and interpret complex contractual clauses, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and project requirements.
Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with obligations, deliverables, milestones, and KPIs.
Prepare and issue contractual notices, variation orders, and amendments in line with agreed procedures.
Manage claims and disputes: entitlement analysis, risk assessment, strategy proposals, and negotiation support.
Maintain contract registers, insurances, bonds, warranties, guarantees, and compliance documentation.
Provide commercial risk analysis and mitigation strategies for decision-making.
Collaborate with client’s legal, procurement, finance, and technical teams to ensure alignment of contract strategy.
Prepare periodic reports, executive dashboards, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Promote continuous improvement in contracting processes and lessons learned for future projects.

Qualifications

Mandatory: University degree in Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in contract management within large-scale infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects.
Experience in nuclear reactor projects is highly desirable.
Experience in industrial processes or related highly regulated industries.
Strong negotiation, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
