Position Details
You will be responsible for corporate examination operations to protect the trust and integrity of "Rakuten Ichiba," a core business of the Rakuten Group.
Your primary collaborators will be internal store account managers and related departments. Furthermore, as business operations are handled by members of outsourced partners, the appropriate management and direction of these outsourced partners will also be a crucial part of your role. In addition to daily operational management, you will actively engage in improving operational efficiency and processes, raising Rakuten Ichiba's "safety and security" to the next level.
Specific duties include
- New Store Application and Ongoing Review Operations: Conducting strict reviews of companies wishing to open new stores and existing merchants, contributing to the maintenance of Rakuten Ichiba's quality.
- Corporate/Store Information Change Review Operations: Reviewing changes to corporate and store information for existing merchants to ensure that information is always up-to-date and accurate.
- Corporate Credit Investigation Operations: Conducting multi-faceted investigations into the creditworthiness of companies and making appropriate judgments from a risk management perspective.
- Contract Termination Related Operations: Proceeding with procedures and responses related to contract termination as necessary.
Work Environment
- The Contract Management Department consists of five sections, and the current recruitment is for the Business Partner Examination Section.
- The Business Partner Examination Section is comprised of about 10 employees, primarily younger staff in their 20s and 30s.
- The communication style is flat, fostering an easy-to-work environment.
Several employees who joined as new graduates and later transferred, along with mid-career hires from various industries, are actively contributing here.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- - Ability to read financial statements
- - Proficiency in creating documents using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)

- - Knowledge and experience in corporate credit screening and risk management
- - Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- - Strong motivation for business process improvement and execution ability
