The Regional Manager, AMS Responsible Sourcing will lead the implementation of the company's Responsible Sourcing strategy and programs across the Americas region. The role ensures compliance with company standards and global frameworks, supports supplier capacity-building efforts, and contributes to data-driven decision-making and risk mitigation. You will engage suppliers, conduct due diligence, and drive continuous improvement in labor, human rights, environmental, and ethical practices. The Regional Manager also collaborates cross-functionally with Legal, SSM, and other Sustainability teams, and represents the company in regional stakeholder initiatives.
Key Results:
Program Execution and Supplier Oversight
Verify that LS&CO approved garment and fabric manufacturers follow SCoC requirements
Provide development support in advancing SCoC requirement.
Support with Sourcing teams to analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and monitor & evaluate progress.
Manage potential alerts driven mainly by external request or out of LS&Co monitoring programs.
Support the implementation of Worker Wellbeing activities in the AMS region
Determines the use of capacity building activities to the specified PU
Manage of data collection, tracking systems and processes in the supply chain.
Additional Information and Key Metrics:
Quality of SCoC assessments
Provide Capacity Building support to identified suppliers
Performance result and measured progress
Provide support to investigations and grievances in the supply chain
Development programs implemented
Supply chain risk management
Prepare regular reports on supplier performance, progress against goals, and emerging risks for internal stakeholders.
About the Job
Assessments:
Perform SCoC assessments, periodic spot checks at assigned factories
Monitor and track the CAP closure progress of suppliers under capacity building and development work.
Development:
Develop and deliver training to increase supplier’s awareness and their roles in managing compliance performance sustainably
Implement development initiatives to assist sustainable development of suppliers based on the strategies and identified risks
Support the implementation of Worker Well-Being programs at selected countries
Team Leadership and Development
Manage and develop one direct report (Responsible Sourcing Specialist) ensuring effective performance and growth.
Support global program development by sharing insights and lessons learned from the Americas region.
Others
Manage Third Party Auditors and consultants.
Collect and analyze data on request, ensuring data accuracy and completeness on the active platforms
Support the creation of the Sustainability Report
About You
- Minimum Education Required: Bachelor ’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Textile Engineering.
- Years and Type of Experience Required: 7+ years’ experience in the same or related field with other reputed brands/retails/consultants.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Knowledge of local laws & international standards. Good communication skills – Writing and speaking – English and local languages, Strong interpersonal skills and good analytical skills. Holds SA800 basic auditor accreditation. Availability to travel.
- Complexity and Accountability: Interacts Sourcing and PA teams. Additionally with other cross-functional teams. Interacts with external stakeholders and suppliers
