Job Summary:

The Flight Avionics (FA) Department within Raytheon Hardware Engineering provides Electrical Systems Engineering to develop Electronic Systems solutions for products across the Raytheon portfolio. Our core electrical engineering responsibilities include architecture, requirements, integration, and test. Our core electrical engineering technologies include RF/RADAR, Navigation/IMU/GPS, Digital, and Power. We partner with several Electrical Product Team departments that provide the detailed design of our electrical products as well as systems teams.

Raytheon’s Airborne Effector Production (AEP) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of airborne electrical products.  Our multi-disciplined teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work life balance.  

The FA and AEP Departments are searching for a Sr. Coordinator Administrative Assistant.  The candidate needs to have experience with Microsoft Tool Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.  The candidate will need to be a team-player and can operate in a high energy environment while completing several tasks simultaneously.

What You Will Do:

Raytheon's FA and AEP Team is looking for an Sr. Coordinator to assist with day-to-day operations for engineering groups. Tasks typically involve:

  • Submitting facilities and/or asset requests for equipment, repairs, new hire assets etc.    
  • Organizing and prioritizing leadership calendars to minimize schedule conflicts
  • Planning and coordinating domestic/international travel
  • Preparing and submitting expense reports
  • Coordinating Meetings including invites, ordering food when applicable, capture notes/action items as requested
  • Managing employee moves
  • Creating and Managing Zoom Meetings
  • Creating and maintaining Organization Charts
  • Assisting in new hire onboarding (Welcome new hire, provide supplies, office location)
  • Creating and processing various Policy Exception forms
  • Submit employee changes through HR System
  • Reserving conference rooms
  • Ordering / maintaining office supplies
  • Preparing security clearances and visitor requests

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and a minimum of four (4) years’ professional administrative experience
  • Experience with Microsoft suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • An Associate's Degree, or some college, is desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Highly proficient in organizing data and documents with the ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel information
  • Self-starter with initiative and independent judgment for assisting management and employees
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Working knowledge of the online expense reporting systems and policies
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player who is comfortable operating in a high energy environment, includes administrative support for other Engineering Directorates
  • Ability to multi-task while meeting the demands of several complex objectives
  • Familiarity with company policies, procedures, forms and processes
  • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills are also key

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
