Technical Aide - MRI, Part Time 24 Hours per Week

Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a Part time Technical Aide to assist the MRI department in the Galloway office location.  This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice.

Part time, 20+ hour per week positions at AMI are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k & Profit Sharing.  Health benefits are not currently extended with part time positions.  Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.

The Technical Aide is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Prepares charts and registers patients;
• Takes patient history and processes paperwork;
• Monitors the patient in the clinical area when the technologist is elsewhere;
• Assists the technologist with patient care;
• Greeting patients and escorting patients to the changing area, providing gown instructions;
• Safely enters and completes work responsibilities within the MRI area;
• Assists patients with wheelchairs and dressing as needed; and
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This part time, 24 hours per week position is based in the Galloway office location.

The work schedule is as follows:

8am-4:30pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Schedules and locations are subject to change based on business needs.

Candidates for this position must have a high school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework a plus.  American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and candidates must be willing to obtain within first thirty (30) days of employment.  Candidates must be willing and able to work around MRI equipment.  The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent organizational skills, has well developed customer service skills and maintains patient privacy at all times.  Candidates must maintain attention to detail in all aspects of their work at all times and must be skilled in utilizing standard office equipment, including computers.  Previous radiology practice experience a plus.  Candidates should be flexible to work varying shift times and travel to other office locations if needed.
