About the role

As a Test Technician at our Norcross, GA facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our electronic components and assemblies. Working under direct supervision, you’ll conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and support the manufacturing team in building high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub-assemblies. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation and a passion for precision.

What you will bring to the role:

 Component Testing: Perform tests on incoming components and assemblies to verify compliance with specifications.
 Troubleshooting: Use electronic test equipment to diagnose and repair PCBs and sub-assemblies down to the component level.
 Documentation: Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to testing and quality control.
 Technical Support: Assist manufacturing teams by answering technical questions and supporting the evaluation of non-conforming materials.
 Prototype Testing: Test prototype assemblies and provide feedback to engineering.
 Fixture Maintenance: Maintain and repair test fixtures as needed to ensure consistent testing performance.
 Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in testing procedures and workflows.
 Safety & Compliance: May perform assembly work requiring protective equipment and follow all EH&S guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, or equivalent education/experience
• Working knowledge of production and quality processes
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
• Experience with mechanical and electronic measurement/test equipment
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to distinguish colors
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work from verbal/written instructions and collaborate in a team environment
