Job Summary
Responsible for leading the Converged Connectivity finance department and be a strategic partner for the Product team under Residential Growth & Ops organization. Oversees day to day operations of Mobile and HSD finance teams including P&L management and investments levers. Guide and review financial modelings, triangulate implications of product/features impacts to broder businesses & present insights to senior leadership teams. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization's business and product strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Develops staff and creates the standards of work performance.Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product team to build business cases; ensure comprehensive & holistic considerations of all factors impacting the business cases, understand trade offs needed on POR list when walk-on occurs.
- Post-launch operational support including POR related tasks.
- Manage XM financials including LRP, budget target and Division alignments. Explains related variances to plan and forecast. Issue and manage monthly Mobile promotion guidance & evaluate ROIs.
- Collaborate with Product team to understand device portfolios & manage DPE volumes. Manage P&L by LOB workstreams.
- Postmortem analysis: measure post launch results vs business case to determine key variance drivers
- Support business partners to showcase major initiatives in front of finance leadership teams. Help teams present succinct stories and value propositions.
- Track acceleration funding including Velocity & MDU investments.
- Grow & develop teammates. Provides motivation, direction and leadership for Connectivity Finance team and adheres to the policies and standards of the Company.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
