POSITION SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a visionary Vice President of IT to lead the next chapter of our digital transformation. This is not a “keep the lights on” role — it’s an opportunity to reimagine how technology powers a growing, global business.
As VP of IT, you’ll own the strategy and execution of initiatives that directly fuel commercial enablement, supply chain productivity, and data-driven decision-making. From transforming how sales teams engage customers with next-generation tools, to unlocking efficiency in manufacturing and logistics through smarter systems, to harnessing the power of analytics and AI to surface insights and sharpen execution — you’ll make technology a competitive advantage.
You’ll oversee everything from our ERP ecosystem and cloud adoption to data governance and cybersecurity, while building a high-performance IT organization that scales with growth. Sitting at the intersection of business strategy and technology innovation, you’ll partner with the executive team to ensure IT delivers smarter decisions, faster execution, and stronger customer experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing IT team with expertise across applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and analytics.
- Define and execute a multi-year IT strategy that accelerates growth through commercial enablement, supply chain productivity, and advanced analytics/AI adoption.
- Partner with CFO and broader executive leadership to ensure technology investments directly drive revenue, margin expansion, and customer experience improvements.
- Implement best practices for IT service management, program delivery, and change management.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and bring forward innovative solutions that create measurable business value.
Commercial Enablement
- Align CRM processes with commercial priorities and ensure full ERP integration for real-time insights & decision making.
- Launch an eStore expand inside sales capabilities and better serve smaller customers.
- Deploy and enhance digital tools and platforms that directly improve the customer experience.
- Champion adoption and training to maximize ROI on commercial technologies.
Supply Chain & Operations Productivity
- Drive technology solutions that streamline manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and planning.
- Enhance ERP and bolt-on systems to improve planning/scheduling, logistics, manufacturing & procurement.
- Implement automation and IoT solutions to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
Data, Analytics & AI
- Build a scalable enterprise data strategy leveraging Azure, Alteryx and Power BI for self-service analytics.
- Establish governance, security, and data quality standards to ensure trusted insights at scale.
- Identify and deploy RPA/AI solutions to achieve step-change improvements in core business processes.
Technology & Operations Management
- Oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cloud services, cybersecurity and ERP systems globally (3-ERPs globally with 85% of company on 1 ERP).
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance across a global environment.
- Establish IT governance, policies, and risk management practices that safeguard business continuity.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role driving enterprise-wide technology strategy.
Leadership & Influence: Exceptional communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills; able to partner with executives, influence across functions, and inspire high-performing teams.
Commercial Enablement: Proven track record implementing digital tools (CRM, pricing, customer platforms) that directly improve sales effectiveness and customer experience.
Supply Chain & Operations: Deep understanding of ERP and supply chain systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) with demonstrated success in driving efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and productivity across manufacturing or distribution environments.
Data, Analytics & AI: Hands-on experience building data strategies and delivering advanced analytics, AI, and automation solutions that inform pricing, forecasting, and customer insights.
Technology Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and enterprise applications.
Transformation Leadership: Successful track record leading large-scale IT transformations, including ERP modernization, cloud adoption, and digital initiatives.
Business Acumen: Ability to manage large IT budgets, optimize spend, and quantify ROI on technology investments.
Industry Background: Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial sectors preferred; background in PE-backed or growth-focused companies a plus but not required.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
