Process Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Managing customer related issues such as claims, notifications and quality trials,
• Managing customer 8D’s (including Customer Specific portal usage),

• Ensuring Customer Communication,

• Leading problem solving activities,

• Leading Fmea Activities,

• Support monitoring, evaluation, analysis and improvement of quality KPIs and lead improvement projects,
• Participating in daily performance meetings to follow up daily quality performance and initiate improvement projects,
• Execute internal and external (supplier) process audits.

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Industrial Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in automotive production systems, especially working with main OEM’s
• Knowledge and actively applying problem solving methods 8D, 6 Sigma, RedX
• Experienced the automotive Core Tools
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, German would be a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP would be a plus
• Willing to work actively on the shopfloor for improvement of process quality
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) within global organization
• Strong presentation skills with analytical and technical problem-solving ability
• Willing to work actively on the shopfloor for improvement of process quality.
