DevOps Engineer - AWS Kubernetes (EKS)

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced AWS Kubernetes (EKS) DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters on AWS. The role involves managing AWS infrastructure, automating deployments using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring container and network security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable seamless application integration. The candidate will play a key role in optimizing AWS services, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud-native applications.
Must Have Skills (Mandatory):* Solid hands-on knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).* Expertise in Kubernetes (AWS EKS) deployment and management.* Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).* Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, AWS DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).* Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).* Proficiency with Docker and containerization best practices.* Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.* Knowledge of networking, storage, and security in cloud environments.
Good-to-Have Skills (Optional):* Familiarity with container and network security best practices.* Exposure to application development methodologies.* Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation (diagrams, procedures, configs).* Collaboration experience with development, QA, and IT security teams.
Qualifications & Experience:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).* 5+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes-based environments.* Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
