ASRC Federal System Solutions seeks an Orion Production Integrator to join our team at Kennedy Space Center, FL. ASRC Federal System Solutions brings a 14-year history of delivering high-performance space systems engineering, integration and satellite operations services to civil and defense agencies. We provide these services throughout all phases of the program life-cycle and across the entire space systems architecture, including space and ground assets.
The Production Integrator plays a critical role in the program by the leading the tactical execution team on the floor, known as the Vehicle Integration Team. The Production Integrator is an independent and capable Engineer that can lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers through the assembly process of their assigned VIT.
Specific Job Duties:
• Will work an odd work week to include weekend..
• Work cross-functional with all areas of the program to support integration of vehicle assembly
• Schedule vehicle assembly with evolving priorities
• Adjudicate any parts or engineering issues that arise during integration efforts
• Document issues and route them to applicable stakeholders
• Maintain a lesson learned database
• Raise awareness for schedule impacts
Requirements:
• ABET Accredited Engineering Bachelor's degree or related discipline and 2-4 years of experience or HS diploma and 6-8 years of experience or AA degree and 4-6 years of experience.
Required Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to understand engineering specifications
• Ability to understand work instructions
• Ability to understand test requirements
• Advanced experience in Microsoft suit tools
Desired Skills:
• Excellent communications skills
• Knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge of 6 sigma processes
• Self-starter
• Knowledge in aerospace processes
• Experience in Microsoft Project
• Minimum of 1 year of Orion experience
