Senior Engineer, Process

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for designated manufacturing process and documentation, methods analysis/improvements, machines layout and equipment acquisition, preparation of equipment justification and appropriation request development, and maintenance of manufacturing information and Statistical process control systems, providing analytical troubleshooting, and leading projects designed to improve efficiencies, assure quality and reduce costs. Hands-on to involve process and production activity is a must.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences. The following specialisations in Engineering or Sciences are preferred: Mechanical Engineering; Mechatronics Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Material Sciences; Materials Engineering and other relevant specialisations.
• At least 5 years of related working experience in manufacturing environment with a highly technical, quality oriented, high volume, light-manufacturing environment. Working experience in Optical Manufacturing is strongly preferred. 

Skills

Experience in well-developed fault isolation, problem solving & analytical skills.

Experience in methodisation and improvement of manufacturing processes.

Experience in designing simple tools, jigs and fixture for manufacturing processes.

Experience in using P-FMEA, SPC and other statistical methods.

Experience in using AutoCAD.

Ability to use English for Business Communication. Mandarin as the 3rd language is an advantage.
