Performs cardiac exercise testing on patients with congenital or acquired heart disease or cardiac symptoms, some independent test with physician/exercise physiologist supervision. Plans and implements individualized exercise treatment programs based upon interpretation of patient evaluation results, stress test, physician guidelines, American College of Cardiology/ American Heart Association guidelines, medical history, and previous level of physical activity. Requires B.S. or B.A. in Physical Education, Recreational Therapy or Exercise Physiology. One to two years on the job experience in a clinical setting to include light typing. Pediatric experience preferred.

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council
