Hayleys Fabric Group 

Sri Lanka’s leading weft knit fabric manufacturer and a subsidiary of the Hayleys Group, supplies world-renowned retail brands through leading local apparel makers. We are looking for personnel from the Apparel/Fabric industry in the following category. Remuneration will depend on your experience and is negotiable. 

Executive – Health & Safety

We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join our Compliance Teams at Hayleys Fabric PLC and South Asia Textiles Limited. This is an excellent opportunity for dynamic young professionals who are passionate about Health & Safety to work closely with global apparel brands, supporting our mission to ensure a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment.

• 1 Vacancy at Hayleys Fabric PLC – Narthupana Estate, Neboda
• 1 Vacancy at South Asia Textiles Limited – Pugoda

Job Responsibilities – 

• Implement and manage Health & Safety programs.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and international buyer standards.
• Provide H&S training to employees.

• Investigate and report on all safety incidents.

Candidate Profile –

• A Bachelor’s Degree in science, Engineering, Human Resources, Facilities Management, or related discipline is required.
• A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role will be considered an added advantage.
• Completion of a certificate or diploma from a recognized occupational safety and health (OSH) training body such as NIOSH (Sri Lanka) or NEBOSH (UK) is highly desirable.

• Prior experience with brand and customer-specific Health & Safety codes and compliance guidelines (from any industry) will be a distinct advantage.
