About The Role

There is an opportunity for a talented individual to join Corebridge Financial (formerly AIG Retirement Services) as a Divisional Vice President in the Great Lakes Region. This Division has over $2.0B in assets under management and 35 advisors. The selected candidate would work to grow and develop assets in an area of the country that has a rich company history and strong upside potential. The position will lead advisors in the states of Michigan and Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Train, motivate and lead financial professionals across the division – 50% travel required
  • Develop and implement a division-wide strategy for growing the K-12 marketplace with a primary focus on increasing participation and new deposits
  • Address and solve business-related challenges as needed
  • Recruit, select and train new financial professionals
  • Coach and assist with advisor development
  • Embrace and promote company initiatives
  • Facilitate the sales of all products and services offered through Corebridge

  • Deep understanding of the public-school K-12 marketplace

  • Superior planning and organizational skills
  • Series 7, 66, 24, 51 and Life and Health licenses
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills in collaborating with advisors, clients, and the community
  • Strong leadership skills; mentoring and coaching skills; ability to build customer loyalty; and superior planning and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of defined contribution retirement plan types and law
  • Strong knowledge of financial services product offerings

Work Location

  • This position is currently designated as remote.

Estimated Travel

  • May include up to 50% travel.
