Learn more at www.harmonicinc.com. Role DescriptionWe are looking for Sr. C++ Developer. You will report to Director of Core Software, Broadband business unit.LocationHybrid role – working at 3-4 days a week from our office in Bangalore.What you will be doingIn this role, you will join one of our global software Scrum teams. You will contribute to the development of next-generation cable industry-leading products, services, and systems for Harmonic. This position involves C/C++ development in advanced technologies, including containerized solutions (Kubernetes) and various networking environments, all running on Linux servers.

As part of the role, you will be involved in the following areas:

Develop C/C++ code in the MAC and upper layer protocol domain, contributing to cutting-edge features as part of the R&D team.
Investigate and debug complex issues reported by Harmonic QA and various customers.
Plan and execute tasks in an Agile development environment.

What you will need to succeed

A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in software development.
Proficiency in C++ and Python with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
Proven expertise in networking systems and a deep understanding of network protocols.
Experience with DOCSIS (highly desirable)
Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Kubernetes (highly desirable).
