This position is a 5-10 hours/week assignment.
Learning Outcomes: Students in this position will gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, content creation, and event promotion in a professional setting.
• Create and schedule engaging social media content and paid advertisements/boosted ads (Instagram posts, stories, and reels) • Research wedding industry trends and audience insights • Assist with photo curation, caption writing, and hashtag strategy • Monitor account activity and respond to basic inquiries or comments • Collaborate with the Events team to plan upcoming campaigns or features • Track engagement metrics and recommend content improvements • Manage and review dropbox account and vendor lists • Capture behind-the-scenes event coverage
• Strong interest in marketing, communications, or event planning • Familiarity with Instagram and social media trends • Creative eye for photography, design, and storytelling • Excellent written communication skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Experience with Canva, Meta Calendar, or similar tools is a plus
