A Responsible AI Technical Solution Architect is a senior technical professional who ensures that AI solutions are designed and delivered in alignment with responsible AI principles. This role bridges customer delivery (implementing AI solutions for clients) and seller support (guiding sales teams on AI solution proposals), requiring a blend of technical expertise, project leadership, and domain knowledge in security, data privacy and ethical AI. You might join customer calls or workshops with sellers to present our approach to Responsible AI, thereby building customer confidence. This role requires technical AI expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to ethical AI. You can also enjoy the freedom to work remotely, up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities
- Architect Ethical AI Solutions: Design frameworks that support scalable AI systems that prioritize fairness, transparency, privacy, and safety.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure AI solutions meet ethical and regulatory standards.
- Governance & Compliance: Embed Responsible AI governance frameworks into solution design, including bias mitigation, explainability, and human oversight.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear documentation of architectural decisions and communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with evolving Responsible AI standards, regulations, and technologies, and integrate them into architectural practices.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Working knowledge of global AI regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, Canada’s AIDA, U.S. Executive Orders).
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution architecture, with a focus on ethical or responsible AI.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and MLOps.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, OECD AI Principles, ISO/IEC 42001).
- Experience with bias detection, model interpretability, and privacy-preserving techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certifications in Responsible AI, AI Ethics, or Cloud AI platforms.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
