Recruiter (Temporary)

Description

We are seeking a temporary Recruiter to join our team for a 6-month assignment. This position is a key support role responsible for the staffing, reliability, and continuous improvement of talent acquisition and related processes. This role will support full-cycle recruitment for exempt (professional, managerial) and non-exempt (hourly, operational) positions across the organization. The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and passionate about delivering a seamless hiring experience. 

Requirements

• Manage full cycle recruitment for a variety of exempt and non-exempt roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies. 
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and proactive outreach.
• Conduct initial interviews and coordinate follow-ups with hiring teams. 
• Facilitate background checks and ensure all pre-employment screenings are completed in compliance with company policy.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate weekly hiring reports. 
• Ensure compliance with employment regulations and internal policies. 
• Promote a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.
• Report directly to the plant HR Manager(s), providing regular updates and insights on recruiting activity for the appropriate facility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience, with exposure to exempt and nonexempt hiring.
• Familiarity with background check procedures and employment screening protocols.
• Strong understanding of employment classifications and labor compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple locations and prioritize effectively.
