Job Title: Privacy Officer I

Incumbent: Security Officer

Reports to: Director of Privacy Department

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Supervises: No 

Pay Range: $20.00                                    


POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for the general security of all BIGHORN properties. Patrol in assigned vehicles or on foot all club facilities and property to ensure the safety of members, guests, employees and the club’s assets including property. Respond to all emergency and non-emergency situations, and alarm activations while maintaining radio communications with the communication center. Perform traffic enforcement duties and enforce local regulations as assigned.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 

  • Observe and reports all persons entering and leaving buildings or residences and remain alert for theft, suspicious persons and/or vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Opens residential dwellings for vendors, homeowners and their guests
  • Enforces all rules and regulations of BIGHORN Golf Club.
  • Operate and understand basic office computer technology.
  • Monitors all appropriate security camera systems.
  • Responds to emergency, fire alarms and burglary alarms and contact Privacy Director and/or police in the event of a disturbance.
  • Administers CPR and First Aid if necessary.
  • Maintains accurate log of all security activities while on duty.
  • Conducts intermittent inspections of the clubhouse, grounds and all other club facilities and areas.
  • Patrols all Bighorn Properties; prevents unauthorized vehicles and people from entering onto premises.
  • Is familiar with emergency 911 notification procedures.
  • Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Director of Privacy.
  • Leadership – Maintain a positive, upbeat role, promote and exemplify Company values and represents departmental objectives and interests to internal and external customers
  • Teamwork - Develop and promote teamwork and cooperation among co-workers
  • Safety – Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company.
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience preferred in security related field
  • 18 years of age or older

Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities

  • Basic Computer skills
  • Good verbal communication abilities

Required Licenses/Certifications 

  • Valid Driver’s license
  • State of California BSIS Guard Card
