Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Exton, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing processes.
- Trouble shoots motors and motor controllers.
- Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
- Verify dimensions and alignment of assemblies.
- Confer with engineering and production personnel with any non-conformances.
- Maintains certificates of conformance requirements
- Final inspection approval or rejection on finished product, writes report of examinations, and maintains inspection records.
- Development and continuing review of a coherent quality assurance program in conjunction with management staff.
Qualifications
- EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and knowledge of electrical wiring. Experience using standard electrical tools for wiring of motors and also standard measuring tools such as tape measures.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform standard shop calculations and knowledge of technical math.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee should understand that he/she may regularly be required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk and/or stand for more than 7 hours per day. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES: Basic electrical wiring understanding and knowledge how to safely isolate power in a wet environment. Ability to connect and run variable frequency drives and ability to connect power to motors and motor controllers. Ability to read and fully understand blueprints. The ability to bend conduit by hand or with hand bending tools
