Job Responsibilities:

Creates and delivers clever, effective copy for high-visibility channels and marketing programs, including promotions, email, website, app, loyalty, organic social, and paid marketing.
Lead messaging development for creative campaigns, including promotions
Write all email copy, including subject lines, pre headers, and body copy, with the goal of driving email opens and clicks to generate revenue
Ensure all campaign content is on-brand, written in the appropriate voice and tone, and delivers on the objectives of the brief.
Present work to marketing stakeholders for feedback and approval
Consistently look for opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining high-quality work
Collaborate closely with visual designers, as well as with cross-functional partners such as email marketing managers and loyalty marketing managers
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for ecommerce marketing copy
Deliver all copy on-time and error-free

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
2-3 years of professional experience writing marketing copy, preferably for an ecommerce or retail brand.
Ability to take direction and be flexible through changes in strategy
Ability to take and respond to feedback
Highly motivated, deadline-driven professional
Excellent attention to detail, with thorough proofreading skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
Research and analytic skills
Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
HTML knowledge and Photoshop experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
