Job Description

The Process, Program, & Deployment team works cross-functionally to support the merchandising organization. This team implements business process improvements and deploys new and improved tools and systems that support Nordstrom’s growth ambition. We’re transforming our end-to-end merchandising approach to drive improved results, deliver a better customer experience, and connect our merchandising processes into one ecosystem. This change is fueled by cross-functional passion and powered by technology. We are looking for a Sr. Manager who is energized by collaboration leading large-scale integrations that deliver lasting business impact. 
 
A day in the life…  

  • Develop, design, and launch process improvements and business solutions in partnership with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. 
  • Oversee and mentor a team of program and project managers, fostering talent development and managing a portfolio of high-impact merchandising programs. 
  • Coordinate across business and technical teams, ensuring solutions are integrated effectively and sustainably, on time and with appropriate training and change management. 
  • Shape and execute merchandising initiatives that drive meaningful results for the business and our customers. 
  • Partner closely with technology teams 
  • Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable strategies that influence leadership decisions and spark innovation. 
  • Drive program visibility and engagement by setting clear success metrics and evaluating performance against them. 
  • Inspire inclusive leadership, valuing diverse perspectives and fostering collaboration across the organization. 
  • You own this is if you have…
  • 8+ years of experience leading multi-year, large-scale programs and cross-functional initiatives from conception to execution, preferably in retail or merchandising.  
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-level technology implementations that achieve measurable business results.
  • A track record of thought leadership, collaborative problem-solving, and resolving complex business challenges.
  • Experience leading people and managing change for critical business initiatives. 
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives, present to diverse audiences, and influence at all organizational levels. 
  • Ability to work independently, remain results-oriented, and adapt to a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. 

Location:

Selected candidate will work onsite four (4) days per week and must be located within a commutable distance of the Nordstrom corporate offices in Seattle, WA

Pay Range Details

  • The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
  • Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$126,500.00 - $210,000.00 AnnualThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
