Description of the Position:  

 

The shipping clerk position is a fast -paced environment. This position is essential to the operation’s success as it works closely with carriers, customer, and on-site management to manage shipping billing and invoicing. It requires organizational skills as well as the ability to multi- task in an efficient and timely manner.

 

Responsibilities:

• Work with management to maintain outbound trailer pool.
• Schedule trailers in and out of loading doors.
• Schedule Outbound drop pickup.
• Communicate with dispatch(s) to ensure pickup.
• Record outbound load quality.
• Ensures all loader paperwork is filled out correctly and completely.
• Resolve any shipping nonconformities. Resolve any issues with shipping with internal staff.
• Files paperwork daily.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Follow all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

 

Schedule:  Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm

 

Pay Rate:  $19.50/hr.
